Releases, babies, more babies, plans derailed and the start of second season.
In order to get this out so at least one post gets published, I’m going to dump out a bunch of photos with descriptions. Not my best post. But it’s a post.
More awesome release sites where property owners will supplement feed while the babies get their bearings- all my releases this year are supported releases. Thank you Debbie, Jessica and Skye for providing these lovely spots.
I was down to under 30 animals but am back up to 44. I am grateful to all my volunteers- one time and regular, for helping me stay fairly on top of things. Jonathan Dominguez has done a lot of extra work when he was here to do landscaping and tidying. I so appreciate him. The enclosure that was supposed to be my gem was built but not up to minimum standards and all the money raised is gone and all the materials will have to be repurposed. I have temporarily given up and am disheartened. The entire 12’x 16′ will have to be taken apart piece by piece and I will have to build it myself and with people willing to specifically follow my vision. I’m sad. I will try again. I know you trust in me and believe in me and my mission and I thank you all for that.
