Spring has Sprung, oh boy it has!

9 tiny opossums, 1 newborn armadillo, a small bunny, and 4 recovering adult opossums. I know more are on their way!

Winky, named because he has limited vision in one eye, was released in a great area. He will be supported with food and shelter if he desires.
Thank you Angel for providing him a safe home and support.
Isn't this a lovely scene?
After a long  long winter being moved from enclosure to enclose to provide enrichment, Little Brother finally was free!  He was moved to safe and supported environment but has already headed out on his own.  He knows he has a safe place to return to,
Little Brother was released in an area that had just lost a male opossum. This created a space in the environment for hm.
I’m not a squirrel rehabber but I m a friend and colleague or one.  These little guys came from an hour away, then Nikki Hughes of Comer met me halfway to change hands.  Teamwork!
I would like to present to you the Christopher Dunham practice flight tent for bats!  This was recommended by Bat World and pops up and down for storage.  Thank you, so much, Chris!
I have also received items from my Amazon wish list, my Chewy wish list and surprise donations.  Thanks, everyone!
If you’d like to donate, there are links at the top of every page.  Chewy gift cards are especially appreciated as I use them to buy medication and the main ingredient of their diet.
A fancy house for baby bats.
Mama inspects the pee pads.
An additional cage!

This is super exciting and I am so grateful to the many donors that made this possible.  There will be a very secure run attached with an asphalt roof.  There will be enough room to place a medium wheel.  Release sized size litters will spend 2 weeks in this cage on the property where they will be released, then the door will be opened.  They can come as go and food will be provided.  Thank you SO much to the donors and hosts!  Thank you to Rich Bergins who helped me set it up.

Please welcome our new intakes, 9 baby opossums.
And a teeny weeny armadillo.
Cant forget the baby bunnies, one whom has already been released (not this one)
After they get tired of drinking milk, they start eating taste Timothy(thanks to Gail Wood) and then clover

I like to post a blog entry every week but it's been busy here as you saw. Thanks for patiently waiting and reading!
