We've had sunny days and cold nights here, and the heat panels and extra snuggy beds are in the outdoor enclosures. There haven't been any new intakes since the 5 big kids arrived so I have more time to spend with everyone as individuals. Today was "leaves and grass enrichment". And an entire hardboiled egg.

Chip is getting so big!
Chup enjoys cracking and eating nuts They all do!
Lolly enjoys her snack in the hammock.
Dolly is healthy and happy.
3 egg eaters at once!
New smells, leaves.
"I don't know how I feel about tree climbing".
Even the air smells different.
Dirt!
A balancing act.
Grass!
I can't believe how fast they are growing. They grew their white guard hairs in 2 weeks (that's fast).
A better view. I don't usually let them climb on me but I made an exception since this was a new and a little scary experience.

Next week I'll write more about the as-of-yet-unnamed 5 big kids overwintering. Big thanks to volunteers Sydney and Rich for helping to create great spaces for them to enjoy.
