Right now I have more animals at once than I've ever had, and the time it takes to care for them all, and myself, is immense. I'm lucky to have a few dedicated volunteers who help out but 95% of the time it's just me. So here's a big bunch of photos without a lot of narrative. Please forgive me!

Scooter the Painted turtle is on his or her way to healing from a cracked shell
They're all taped up and kept in water shallow enough that it doesn't get in the cracks
I make sure there's enough water that they stay hydrated and cool. They seem happy and are eating well
Bunny continues to grow and be adorable
Look at those perky ears!
Days old Big Brown bat
What a sweet little face!
I feed him by dripping milk replacer onto a foam eyeshadow applicator and he nurses on it
Enrichment for the inside babies
The passel of 10 drinking up yummy milk
Do you like my scary face?
Some nice kibble salad makes a fine lunch
I'm growing up! I weighed 15 grams when I came in, now I'm heading towards 300!
Very small hatchling- but I'm not sure of the species yet
With only a bit of head fluff, you can see his ears (at the edge of his beak)
Such small wings!
I feed him very carefully with a small syringe. He eats a specially formulated diet for songbirds
A very comfortable Dumpster Girl (she was trapped in a garbage dumpster)
Pool Boy (he was found swimming in a pool) likes the food in the syringe, but not the syringe
Hello from our hollow log!
I'm so lucky!

I hope you enjoyed the photos- I'll have more to share and more things to tell you about next week. It will be fun to watch everyone grow.
