I planned to make a huge post updating everyone on how the not-rehabbing is going, how the opossums with the rehabbers I am training are doing, and the general sense of things. But I am struggling with technical issues and just got in a bunny covered in fly eggs. So here are a bunch of photos.

Scarlet Lewis is a newly licensed rehabber I am coaching.
Krista de Vries is a rehabber who has had her license for over a year but I still coach.

Maggie Haden is another licensed rehabber who I have been working with for nearly a year.  She discovered she loves squirrels as well!  I am grateful there are people out there who love opossums like I do and are willing to get licensed to work with them.  I am making instructional videos for both the new rehabber and the experienced ones, covering topics like initial intake, cage set up, and diagnosing the early signs of illness.  It’s been rewarding to share what I have learned and to watch them become competent and loving rehabbers.  There are two more women scheduled to take the test in May who I will also be training and coaching.

These are two pitiful kids that didn't have good nutrition with Mom so caring for them has been challenging!
They love to be wrapped up and cuddled.
This is him on the same chair just a couple weeks agio!
A Mama with 7 joeys who had been attacked by a dog came in. I am still taking injured cases.
She is still a very good Mama despite her injuries
Tiny Taylor came in and was all alone. Two of Mama's joeys died from the attack so she had available nipples. I stuck Tiny Taylor in and he immediately got comfy.
She is a fierce protector!
For a little while she wore a onesie to keep her bandages on.
Her babies have started leaving Mama for short forays into the cage, and a few licks of baby food.
I babysit and, of course, get to look at adorable photos and see the progress of all 34 babies I am working with.
Obviously, I am in love with opossums!
Sarah, the other Mama I have here with babies in her pouch, eats on her own and is improving every day.
Some days are just like this, a little chompy
And some days are like this, a little poopy.
Happily, most days are like this!

It's a challenge working with so many animals (some I have accepted myself), so many people I need to trust I am doing a good job coaching, and balancing work and life. A fundraiser is currently fundraiser to help these rehabbers, and the two about to take the test, buy supplies, food, and treat any medical conditions that arise with them or myself (like the very sick rabbit I took in at 9:30 last night). I have also repopulated my Amazon wish list, so if you want to send things we need as gifts, we would love that! Thanks for reading and helping out, I appreciate you!
