Babies in things! How about some babies on things! Or even babies doing things! All adorable, all the time.

Mama and her babies are now separated and living their own lives as tired lady and big fat kids on their own. They grew so big and strong on Mama's milk, so much better than even science can replicate. It's amazing how big they suddenly became.

Three of the five- how would she make it carrying so many and staying safe and fed in the wild?
A coconut makes a fine private room.
This one's name is Two Dots.
The babies love soft, warm hiding places.
Poppy!
Little fingers!

Meet Cinnamon!  She is a rare coloration called, well, cinnamon.  Our friend Kayla came home from a long day at work to find several cats surrounding this poor little injured opossum.  Cinnamon sustained some severe bite wounds to her neck.  I had to clip and shave parts of her beautiful fur to clean the wounds, but it will grow back.  She is healing wonderfully and is probably enjoying meals in bed and a warm incubator. As a juvenile she doesn’t need to be in an incubator, but I want the least stress on her body as possible, so in she went.

The teeny weenies aren't so teeny weeny anymore!
Such an attractive young man.
Leaves and sticks and sometimes even dirt clods make great enrichment!
Mmm, grasshoppers!
A cuddly igloo.
This hanging nest is a favorite.
Tubes are fun! They roll around and they are places to hide in.
Flashback just a couple weeks ago for perspective- this is how tiny Mam's babies were! Now they are so big they don't want their photo taken.

Thanks for visiting and enjoying all the photos. I'll give histories on everyone soon. I am deeply grateful to my friends and volunteers-Rich Bergins, Sydney Wakeford, Dawn Farris, Scarlet Lewis, Krista de Vries, Maggie Haden, Sharon Schultz, Tracy Gaines and new volunteer Payton Bullins. Donors and supporters, you make this work! And thank you, thank you finders and rescuers. I am so happy you sought help and found me, and traveled great distances sometimes to bring these babies in need to me.
